WEC Lines will expand its Portugal service with a new connection in the United Kingdom

We are pleased to announce that WEC Lines will expand its Portugal service with a new connection in the United Kingdom, by offering a dedicated, faster direct and weekly container service connecting the ports Vigo, Leixoes, Sines, Setubal and Lisbon with Liverpool.

Same time this new development provide us a perfect position to connect Dublin and Greenock (Ireland-Scotland) as well as for Belfast (Northern Ireland) which ports, WEC actually serves via Antwerp.

This new service will provide us on top of better UK inland facilities and rates for the Northern and South part of United Kingdom a significant improvement as well in transit’s from Liverpool to Morocco and Canary Islands.

Furthermore Sines port, our hub for WEC transshipment cargo is offering very good access for Spanish cargo ex Valencia and Cadiz to Liverpool, Dublin, Belfast and Greenock!

Consequently the actual schedule of SPM II will be adjusted commencing February 2016 as follows:

Rotterdam, Tilbury, Antwerp, Vigo, Leixoes, Sines, Setubal, Liverpool, Sines, Lisbon, Leixoes, > Rotterdam.
