Tarros SPA La Spezia is operating with 'container door to door' transport activities in the Mediterranean, using intermodal transport techniques (ship - road - rail), offering its services to Italian and foreign clients.

It has a complete commercial network throughout Europe and North Africa linking all main Mediterranean ports with its own lines. It is a leader on this field, both in local traffic and feeder service for deep sea shipping lines and has to be considered as a very good connection for containerized cargo from Switzerland to the entire Mediterranean and Northern Africa ports.

is the port terminal operator for the group (75%) and for other owners (25%) as well. The port terminal, located at La Spezia roads near the national motorway, has an area of 100,000 sq. m., equipped with a C & T gantry crane and a HMC 200 Fantuzzi Reggiane mobile crane serving over 300 m. quay; a wide range of forklifts, constackers etc. will complete the terminal equipments.
