PIL - further East Africa service improvement

Enhancing further on our premium East Africa product. Our EAS Service will be calling DIRECT to Mombasa / Dar Es Salaam from Singapore. The existing Reunion call on this service will be transfer to IOM Svc which will be upgrade with enhance frequency (svc Update will be advise in details at a latter stage)

EAS Revise Rotation:

SIN - MBA - DAR - (Pemba - fortnight basis) - PGU - SIN - DVO - MNS - SHA (WGQ) - TXG - DLC - TAO - SHA (YST) - NGB - SIN
Frequency -  Weekly
Number of vessels - 9 vessels  (10 vsls during cashew season)
Commencing voyage : Kota Nanhai Voy. NHI035/036  ETA SIN westbound 14/Aug

PIL - insertion of Colombo to the East Africa service

Please be advise of the enhancement to the East Africa 2 service brought about by the insertion of the Colombo (west and east bound) call.

The rotation of the service will be adjusted as follows:

Spore - FangCheng - HongKong - Huangpu - Nansha - Shekou - Spore - Colombo"JCT" -  Port Louis - Mombasa - Nacala - Colombo - Pasir Gudang - Spore


The Colombo call will commence with the Kota Jelita Voy 008/9. Following are her dates:

FAN (22/7), HKG(23/7), HUA(24/7), NSA(25/7), SHK(26/7), SIN(31/7), CMB(5/8), PLU(11/8), MBA(16/8), MNC(22/8), CMB(2/9), PGU( 7/9), SIN(8/9)

This svc will provide direct connection from South China/HongKong to Colombo.

It will also serve Ex Colombo / India to Indian Ocean Island, East Africa & Mozambique ports.



PIL - new Service to and from Vladivostok

Pacific International Lines (PIL) is proud to announce the extension of their North-Asia Service (NAS) to the port of Vladivostok, making them the first major carrier to offer exclusive direct links between the Russian port and Northern Japan.

Kota Dahlia is scheduled to make her maiden call at Vladivostok on 14th June 2011. Three vessels of 600 TEU nominal capacity each will be deployed to provide a weekly service. The port rotation will be: Niigata, Vladivostok, Tomakomai, Hachinohe, Keelung, Taichung, Shanghai and Pusan.

Delivering one of the most competitive transit times, the enhanced service will cater to the unique needs of Vladivostok’s customers while strengthening the Intra-Asia networks under PIL Group.

PIL - Beira congestion surcharge

With the dredging programme that Beira port have done in April 11, the berthing situation have improved at Beira with the deeper draft. As such, PIL have decided to remove the Beira congestion surcharge w.e.f 1 July 11. This should apply for containers for all inland shipment into Blanytre, Lilongwe, Kitwe, Lusaka, Ndola via Beira gateway port.

Inbound : Removal of CGSD w.e.f 1 July 11 basis on vsl ETD date.
Outbound: Removal of CGS w.e.f 1 July 11 basis on vsl ETD date
