W.E.C. - surcharges in all trades January 2013

Please find attached the updated overview of surcharges that will have to be applied on the traffic to/from East African / Red Sea and Indian Ocean destinations for January 2013.

Please take note of the following:

CAF for January 2013 for SB shipments – decreased to 6.90%

BAF EA for January 2013 for SB shipments – decreased to USD 815/Teu

BAF RS for January 2013 for SB shipments – decreased to USD 490/Teu

BAF Comores for January 2013 for SB/NB shipments – decreased to Euro 520/Teu

BAF EA + RS for January 2013 for NB shipments – decreased to USD 285/Teu

CSC Dar es Salaam (for Tanzanian imports only – unchanged - not applicable on border crossing cargo under merchant or carrier haulage via Dar es Salaam

Southbound WAF and MED Containers
BAF ex NWC ports / Med ports / Portugal / Bilbao / Scandinavia / Ireland / Casablanca
Euros 560 per Teu

BAF ex UK ports: 
GBP 450 per Teu

Grimaldi - THC at Amsterdam and Rotterdam for 2013

Please be advised that Terminal Handling Charges for containerised exports and imports at Amsterdam and Rotterdam will be set at the following levels with effect from the 1st January 2013.

Import and Export

Euros 170 per container (dry)

This change applies to all trades.

PIL - THC Maputo as from 1st Jan 2013

Due to increase of port tarrif by DPW Maputo for year 2013, PIL will impose following revised THC quantum for shipments into / out of MPM w.e.f 1st January 2013.

PIL - THC and Equipment handling charges Kenya

Pursuant to Kenya Ports Authority's review of their stevedoring tariffs and in order to maintain a high standard of service to our customers, we wish to inform that PIL will apply as of 1st December the following new levels:

THC
USD 99.-/20'  and  USD 148/40'

EHC Charges
USD 30.-/20'   and   US 45/40'
