PIL - new own feeder service for Matadi

We are pleased to announce our new service to MATADI, DRC which will start end June from Pointe Noire.

This new service will be served by our own PIL-operated dedicated feeder.

Service rotation will be Point Noire - Matadi - Point Noire, with a fortnightly frequency.
T/T from Point Noire to Matadi is approximately 1 day with 7 days waiting time for berth at Matadi.

Matadi shipments will be transshipped at Point Noire via our existing SW2 service from Singapore and the Far East.

The 1st sailing on SW2 which will be loading Matadi shipment to Pointe Noire for further transhipment
will be Northern Endurance YNE013. Singapore on 3rd June, eta Point Noire on 27th June.

PIL - service upgrade Mozambique & Madagascar

We are please to announce an upgrade of IOM service, from 10 days frequency to a weekly service into Island and Mozambique ports.

Rotation: Singapore - Port Louis - Reunion - Tamatave - Maputo - Beira - Pasir Gudang - Singapore.

Thisnew product, will improve the frequency into / out from Island and Mozombique ports.

Further, PIL will be introducing fortnight Richards Bay call in IOM service.



PIL - upgrade of East Africa Services

PIL is enhancing the East Africa Service (EAS & EA2)

EAS service new rotation:
Singapore - Colombo - Mombasa - Pasir Gudang - Singapore -Dalian - Xingang - Quingdao - Shanghai (YST) - Ningbo (Yongzhou Tml) - Singapore
Frequency: weekly
Number of vessels: 9 vessels

Commencing voyage: Kota Nilam Voy. NLM034/035
Eta Shanghai 17/5, Eta Singapore 25/5, Eta Colombo 30/5


EA2 service New Rotation:
Singapore - Fangcheng - Hong Kong - Huangpu - Shekou - Nansha - Singapore - Colombo - Dar es Salaam - Nacala - (Pemba - fortnight) - Colombo - Pasir Gudang - Singapore
Frequency: Weekly
Number of vessels: 8 vessels

Commencing voyage: Hansa Ravensburg v.VHR030/031
Eta Nansha 15/5, Eta Singapore 20/5, Eta Colombo 24/5 



PIL - upgrade of the black sea service

CSCL, K-LINE, PIL, WHL and YM hereby announce to jointly upgrade their Asia-Black Sea service (ABX) from March 15th, 2012. The five carriers will introduce eight ships of 5500-6000 TEU to replace current fleet of Panamax ships deployed in the service; CSCL will provide 4 ships while remaining carriers will provide one ship each.

The upgraded service will continue to offer the most competitive transit time from Asia to Black Sea ports in the market with rationalized port rotation: Shanghai, Ningbo, Shekou, Singapore, Port Kelang, Piraeus, Istanbul, Constanza, Ilyichevsk, Port Kelang, Shanghai.



PIL - new call at Richards Bay

Pacific International Lines, is pleased to announce the introduction of a Richards Bay service with effect from January 2012 , accepting containers for discharge at all FAR EAST, SOUTH EAST ASIA, AUSTRALIA /NEW ZEALAND AND INDIAN SUB CONTINENT destinations.

This monthly service is intended to meet the needs of exporters in the Richards Bay region and those exporters that can use Richards Bay as an alternative to Durban port.
